Photo Stream

If you love taking photos on the go with your iPhone, don't forget to turn on your Photo Stream in your settings. This is a great way to stream your last 1000 photos across all your devices ie. iPod, iPad, computers PC or MAC. Photo Stream also stores your photos in the iCloud. Though I've yet to actually find them in iCloud.com (still awaiting that option). But if you're anything like me running around taking photos of everything eye-catching it's great to see your photos directly linked across your devices. once on your computer you can easily just move your photos into your Events in your iPhotos or any other folder. In your PC there's also a Photo Stream folder created for your photos. It's created when you download iTunes and sign into your iCloud account. Very cool stuff. I remember having to create FTP folders and send photos across or make them available via links. Now it all works.

With Photo Stream you can also share any photos with anyone you like without including the whole world. Just create a Photo Stream using iPhone and share via email. When they accept not only can they see your Photo Stream they can comment on them as well. It's a great way to get away from all those text messages and an easy way to share your photos with those closest to you. Apple TV allows viewing photos on the big screen with family, friends, for parties and other enjoyable occasions.

In iOS7 when you create a Photo Stream whoever you share with can also share in the created Photo Stream you invited them into.

For additional info on setting up your Photo Stream visit Apple iCloud Setup

Apple Slows Down Older iPhones

Apple admits slowing down older iPhones. But it's not a part of a conspiracy, it's to fix an issue. Geekbench conducted a test and found the age of batteries affecting iPhone 6, 6s, and 7 to be slowing down. Apple had attempted to fix the problem by slowing down CPU usage, a result that came from iPhones unexpectedly shutting down when the battery approached 30 percent of battery life.   Photo by  rawpixel.com  on  Unsplash To resolve the issue, Apple released iOS 10.2.1 on February 17, 2017. The fix slows down the processing speed to offset and extend battery life. Apple explained to Business Insider : "Lithium-ion batteries become less capable of supplying peak current demands when in cold conditions, have a low battery charge or as they age over time, which can result in the device unexpectedly shutting down to protect its electronic components." Additionally,  Apple advises when using iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Apple Watch to avoid extreme heat

LandGrabbers for iPad

Well this game has me addicted. LandGrabbers is similar to Command and Conquer. You start off with one house and compete against the AI and clock to take over the map. The free download come with about 18 levels, and the $2.99 upgrade doubles that. Time flies taking over the maps. Great game and great price. Highly recommend it at 5/5 stars.
