China's overachieving Giant Panda Power Plant

Panda Power Plant in Datong, China
China is such an overachiever when it comes to building large. But this new endeavor offers humor.

The new solar power plant, located in Datong, China, takes up 248-acres. It's able to produce 3.2 billion kilowatt-hours of solar energy in 25 years reducing carbon emissions by 2.74 million tons. The project was built by the China Merchants New Energy Group.

The project aims to bring awareness among young people in China.
Nazca Astronaut

One can't help to recognize using the landscape as a canvas for awareness. The Nazca "Astronaut" geoglyph is a human form, approximately 100 feet high, on a hill near the Nazca Desert in southern Peru. Though research has discovered that the "Astronaut" is a fisherman. Deteriorated now, but his right hand is suspending a fish.

Maybe, a millennia from now people will come across the remnants of the giant panda and wonder what it represents.

LandGrabbers for iPad

Well this game has me addicted. LandGrabbers is similar to Command and Conquer. You start off with one house and compete against the AI and clock to take over the map. The free download come with about 18 levels, and the $2.99 upgrade doubles that. Time flies taking over the maps. Great game and great price. Highly recommend it at 5/5 stars.
